Searchable TNIV online

I’m totally sold on the TNIV (Today’s New International Version). If you use the NIV (as I have for years ), seriously consider migrating over to the TNIV. No, it's not perfect (no human translation is, of course), but it's extremely well done. Do keep the NIV in your toolbox obviously, but make the TNIV your number one tool now. You won't be sorry. If you need more persuasion, read Curt Niccum’s fine review in the most recent issue of the Christian Chronicle.

I use Bible Gateway often, but they don’t have the TNIV in their repertoire. Yet. But the TNIV is doing it right – they’re already made the entire TNIV text available and searchable online (by passage and by keyword) for free not many days after it’s release. Very cool given that such is an almost unheard of thing for a Bible publisher to do these days.

And hey, if you'd like to receive a selection of TNIV Scripture on a daily basis in your e-mail, you can do that, too. It's a good way to prompt yourself to stay in the word all the time!

You’ll definitely want to book mark this link.
