The Acts of God

We may all be different, but there's surely one thing we all have in common - we're looking for joy in life. Between the pressures of our job, misunderstandings with others and even the frustrations that come from our search for answers through religion, our life can begin to take on the look of a long, lonely journey through a desert.

It doesn't have to be that way, whether or not the pressures, misunderstandings or frustration points remain. No, joy is not merely a dream or just a remote possibility reserved for an elite few, but a reality available to anyone, anytime. And this well-known story in Acts 8:26-40 tells us how - joy is found in the work of God in our life and our having a real relationship with him.

And that's what I'll be preaching about this coming Sunday morning, God willing.
