Be good to yourself & your PC

How so? Get in the habit of making regular backups, whether or not Santa is kind enough to drop off one of those nice external hard drives for you around the end of this month (oh, be sure and ask for one that is at least 20 GB larger than your PC's existing hard drive). Copy critical data files to some media off your computer such as a CD or USB key (aka: thumbdrive). Use a simple, backup software like SyncBack freeware to assist you in the task. If you use Windows XP, make a new System Restore point regularly (Start>> All Programs>>Accessories>>System Tools>>System Restore). And for more info on backups in general, check out this article.
