Quote - creation & faith

"Scripture says that the heavens and its order are a guide to faith, for through it we see the Artist himself. Again, beholding the beauty of the earth will cause faith in God to grow within you. We believe in God; we cannot see him with human eyes, but through the power of the mind we can perceive the Invisible One through those things that are visible. All his works then are occasions for faith. Even a stone bears some mark of the power of its Creator. The same goes for an ant, a mosquito, or a bee; the wisdom of the Creator is often manifest in the smallest creatures. He spread out the heavens. He poured out the vast expanse of the seas. He also hollowed out like a pipe the tiny stinger of a bee so that it might sting. God's works therefore are all occasions for faith. Let nothing be an occasion for unbelief in you." - Basil of Caesarea, @375 A.D.
