Only Luke is With Me

This coming Sunday morning (Jan. 8) in some of our adult classes at MoSt Church we'll take a look two accounts in Luke's Gospel that teach us about our using the gifts we have: the good Samaritan (10:25-37) and the rich fool (12:13-21). Read these accounts ahead of time and mull them over. If you do so, you'll be ahead of the game in our discussion Sunday morning.

If you'd like to study a bit more, there's some simple commentary on these two passages by Darrell Bock, a fine Luke-Acts scholar, online right here: the good Samaritan and the rich fool. J.W. McGarvey's comments on these texts are also available: the good Samaritan and the rich fool.
