It's simply amazing what you can learn if you bother to look up the location of places mentioned in Scripture, but honestly, how many actually make effort to look something up on the map? Perhaps that would change of you had quick reference to some quality maps of Bible lands in Bible times. A variety of Bible atlas software has been on the market for years, but not much of it is of very high quality.

So how about some quality Bible maps for free? If you've got 100mg of space on your HD (it has to be your C: drive or it won't install) and don't mind using a beta version of the software, then surf Biblemapper's website, download a copy of their beta software and get yourself fixed up. The quality of these maps will be in the Logos software league and the price of ver. 1.0 when released will be very competitive with them.
