in the news

Last Sunday morning in the 20/20 Bible class at MoSt, Scott Gipson led us in a fine study of the life of David. What should be announced this week then, but an archaelogical discovery that makes specific mention of David. It's quite a find. You can read more about it right here.

God willing, I'll be leading a study on the life of Noah tomorrow in the 20/20 class. Now dig this - there is a man who is building a 1/5 scale, fully functional replica of Noah's ark. You can read more about that in this BBC post. Frankly, I always thought it would be slick to structure a small church building or chapel after the fashion of the ark. Got any suggestions for a name? Embark? Aqua Church?
